This is happening TOMORROW, SUNDAY, AT 3PM PST!!!

Join this call to hear from Minnesota organizers, international experts on authoritarian regimes, and regular people who are leading the way in their neighborhoods. Together we’ll learn how we each can build the power we need to make a general strike real in our communities, wherever we are. And we’ll learn why it works and why we will win.

Check out this Lookout article about the events of yesterday. The youth of our communities really showed up again!!! So many local businesses closed their doors for the day, stayed open but supportive, or stayed open and donated their sales to PIRC. There was also a grand show of solidarity from Springfield with a massive caravan of vehicles driving through Springfield after the PSL rally at 2pm at City Hall. Vehicles then made there way to Eugene driving past the federal building. The honking was everywhere. The energy was high. And the air was SPICY.

It’s worth noting that the EPD and the SPD were pre-emptively protecting federal agents and were completely non-responsive to extrajudicial brutality against protesters. Were sanctuary city and state rules broken???

A window was broken. Truth. Does that mean people across the street should be tear-gassed? Does that mean people in the parking garage at the Hult Center be exposed to a wafting cloud of tear gas?

We showed that we can SHUT IT DOWN in Eugene and Springfield. But this is just the beginning. We still have a long way to go to be TRULY strike ready. Continue talking about the General Strike. Get to know some unions from the ESSN.

EVERY SUNDAY FROM 2-4PM STARTING TOMORROW

Inflatables, restorative protesting, and meditation Funday Sundays. Bring a chair, warm clothes, maybe even some headphones. Wear ridiculous costumes. Spontaneous dancing, singing, and music may erupt. There may even be free massages! Just goofy madness at the federal building because WHY NOT!
