Our enemy on the front lines is the pig. We can’t trust the pig. We are fighting these fascist federal ICE pigs as well as our own local pigs who defend these federal ICE goons. In other words, the federal building is a pigsty. And when life gives you pigs, make bacon.

Join us on Monday February 16th from 11am-1pm for our next “Day Without an Immigrant” visibility action!

We will be doing a sidewalk march in front of our State Capitol in support of our immigrant neighbors.

Our goal is to get ICE Out of our barrios by building solidarity amongst allies and immigrant workers. We need other sectors to stand up against gestapo immigration enforcement, and find real solutions to our broken immigration system.

What Happens on a Day Without An Immigrant? We're asking YOU to take the day off of work, and NOT participate economically. A Day Without An Immigrant is for all sectors of the economy. On the days identified below we will send opportunities to join Day Without An Immigrant in cities across the state. Thanks for your support!

UofO has refused to pledge to use their campus alert system to notify students if ICE comes to campus — they have also told students they will use the student code of conduct on anyone who mobilizes against ICE on campus. They have at least alluded to, if not explicitly told students they will use UOPD to intervene on behalf of ICE agents if ICE comes to campus and students mobilize to protect their peers.

Additionally, the University upper administration continues to delay the establishment of a Latine Cultural Center on campus despite several years of advocacy from student orgs and the creation of a University task force with the goal of guiding UO into becoming a recognized Hispanic Serving Institution (a university with at least 25% of the student body identifying as Hispanic has this distinction).

Bring your signs to connect the dots from Amazon, to Whole Foods, to our American addiction to the big corporations—the ones undercutting not only local businesses, but our very Bill of Rights, as they gleefully prop up this administration.

This is the first but not last in a series of boycott pocket protests to help us educate and prepare for the coming general strikes. Let’s point to the corruption at the top. Let’s break this regime.

NEW SUNDAY FUNDAY EVENT AT THE FEDERAL BUILDING!!!

EVERY SUNDAY FROM 2-4 PM

Inflatables, restorative protesting, and meditation Funday Sundays. Bring a chair, warm clothes, maybe even some headphones. Wear ridiculous costumes. Spontaneous dancing, singing, and music may erupt. There may even be free massages! Just goofy madness at the federal building because WHY NOT!

And if you’re lucky, you might hear an 8-year-old on a mic chanting, “ICE has butt lice!” in a virtually endless loop!!!!! Let’s goooooooooo!
