Boycotts, Food, Flock, and Escudo Latino

Our country is facing a fascist takeover. It’s actually happening. What you do now MATTERS. It matters A LOT. What we do TOGETHER matters even more, because when we do things together, we’re stronger.

Are you scared? Good! You’re not a sociopath. Courage is the will to act in the face of fear. Let’s stop this sociopath in the Oval Office and rid ourselves of his filth. BUT WE MUST ACT! Here are some things that anyone can do to fight these fascist scumbags.

Stop going to Starbucks. Starbucks baristas need your support.

“Baristas are the most important part of the Starbucks experience. Baristas open the stores every morning and close them every night. They greet customers, make the coffee, clean up the spills, and remember customers’ names and favorite orders.

Yet, it’s too hard for baristas to make ends meet.

Starbucks baristas deserve to be paid enough to afford the basics like food and rent. That's why they're demanding a fair union contract with the staffing, hours, take-home pay, and an end to union-busting.”

Stop going to Whole Foods. Stop giving Jeff Bezos more money. Seriously. If you live in Eugene, why are you spending your money at Whole Foods? Jeff Bezos is a billionaire broligarch, y’all. We have The Kiva just a few blocks away. When you make that choice to stop going to Whole Foods and spend your money locally, you’re fighting fascists.

Here is a LONG LIST of local alternatives for groceries and a whole lotta other things. Buy local to fight these weak, fascist numbskulls.

Oregon SNAP may have been temporarily restored, but these fascists have already shown us that they’re willing to starve people. They will do it again the next chance they get. Let’s help keep our neighbors fed. The time to build up food reserves for our struggling neighbors is NOW!
