Our friends in NJ need us! Community members detained at Delaney Hall concentration camp in Newark, NJ are on a labor and hunger strike demanding their release. They face medical neglect, mold, worm-infested food, and inhumane conditions. You can help by donating, sharing this graphic with your networks, staying informed, and if you’re local, showing up to Delaney Hall!

1. Direct your donations to the NJ Alliance for Immigrant Justice (NJAIJ) and other local Newark mutual aid funds to help cover legal fees, protest supplies, and support for the families of the detainees. https://www.njaij.org/donate

2. Contact local news agencies and outlets and demand more coverage of the Delaney concentration camps. 3. Contact Your Representatives: Call your local, state, and federal officials. Demand that they pressure DHS to lift the visitation ban immediately, provide independent medical care to the striking individuals, and terminate the GEO Group contract.

4. Show Up: If you are local to the New Jersey/New York area, look for calls to action from grassroots groups. Physical solidarity can disrupt the machine.

Here are the hunger strikers’ demands: The strikers are continuing their strike and remaining steadfast in their demands:

1. An immediate MEETING between strikers and New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill so she can witness conditions firsthand and hear directly from those detained.

2. The immediate release of the most vulnerable detainees, including elderly individuals, young people and those with serious medical conditions.

ICE has returned to routinely terrorize our local community

There were THREE kidnappings yesterday, not two (as previously reported); - Two at around 5 am, taking place out in the community. The neighbors/loved ones were kidnapped by several federal agents. One of the involved vehicles was Silver Ford Expedition with the plate 670 MLA. ICE brought the two kidnapped individuals to the Old Fed Building before transferring one of them in 670 MLA at 7:06am to an unknown location. ICE kidnapped a third person sometime before 7:00am with a black Dodge Durango with plates 143 JJH. The Durango brought the person to the federal building at 7:07am. The Durango then transported this third person and the second kidnapped community member at 10:30am to an unknown destination.

For the month of May, this brings us to at least 5 kidnappings in Eugene and at least 24 kidnappings statewide—marking a definite escalation of the deportation machine in our local communities and Oregon as a whole.

The viral video of EPD officer Martin Siller has exposed the culture of racism, misogyny and violence in the Eugene Police Department. Siller was with EPD for 7 years, almost as long as Chief Skinner. We’re standing up as a community against this violent police culture now! Join us on Saturday, May 30th at noon for a demonstration at the Wayne Morse Federal Courthouse in Eugene to demand Skinner resign, expanded civilian oversight, ending EPD collaboration with ICE/DHS and more!
