When institutions step back, the community steps up! Join the Radical Eugene Pride Rally and March the morning of Saturday, June 27th, 9am at Kesey Square. Share in your groups, share on socials, tell your friends. They don't need to ask permission to be heard! All ages welcome, bring your gayest banners, flags, and outfits 🏳️‍⚧️✊🏳️‍🌈

Eugene Pride will also be held from 11am-7pm at the Lane Events Center. $1-20

GTFF has their next session with the UO on July 2. They would love to have people there from all over town to show that Eugene has their backs! You can also join on zoom at bit.ly/gtffzoom2

If you've never been to a bargaining session, it can be a really enlightening experience seeing how management at a large organization like UO sees the workers who accomplish the real mission of the institution. They will have coffee and food. Come for as long or short as you like!

This is a grassroots effort that hopefully gets some traction. Celebration is out of place when so many have been harmed by the actions and inactions of our Nation.

GLOBALLY: Illegal acts of aggression and wars; Removal of USAID funding leading to the deaths of thousands of children; Impact on global climate; Failed trust with global allies...

NATIONALLY: Concentration camps; Targeted aggression towards people of color; Targeted aggression towards trans and queer youth; Targeted aggression towards LGBTQIA2S+ community; Targeted aggression towards women; Targeted aggression towards natural resources; Targeted aggression towards faith/religious communities; Targeted aggression towards leftist groups; Targeted aggression towards institutions of higher learning; Removal of healthcare benefits; Removal of food benefits; Police violence...

LOCALLY: What challenges are your local communities facing? De-funded non-profits? Houselessness? Economic insecurity? Increased ICE activity?... You know your community.

PERSONALLY: Are you a member of a targeted community? Has your economic security been threatened? Are you grieving the dreams you had for the kind of world you thought you lived in/or hoped it could be?

Before (or instead of) the fireworks, let's hold some space for our collective grief-- and then, get busy taking care of our communities.
