The person who was kidnapped today was RELEASED in Portland after a successful habeas corpus petition was filed before they were taken across state lines. This is a small win that comes from the work of people LIKE YOU who come to the federal building to bear witness to the atrocities committed by these agents as well as people who accompany community members who are coming for their check-ins. The layers within our support network make it extremely difficult for ICE to fly under the radar in our town and get away with their illegal detentions.
