FIRMAR EL COMPROMISO
Immigrant workers, like the Oregon farm workers of Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste (PCUN), are the backbone of Oregon’s most important sectors. We came here following the American dream, and to build a better life for our families. We work the jobs nobody else will do. They are backbreaking, low-paid, and sometimes dangerous. We helped make this country the richest country in the world. We’re not criminals, we’re families, workers, PEOPLE!
We have seen an overwhelming increase in ICE and Border Patrol in our communities, terrorizing our children, destabilizing our local business, harming our community. We have something Trump and his cronies want, our labor, our money, our time.
No work. No shopping. No school. Join our cause!
Our goal is to get ICE Out of our barrios by building solidarity amongst allies and immigrant workers. We need other sectors to stand up against gestapo immigration enforcement, and find real solutions to our broken immigration system.
What Happens on a Day Without An Immigrant? We’re asking YOU to take the day off of work, and NOT participate economically. A Day Without An Immigrant is for all sectors of the economy. Sign the pledge and stay tuned for more details!
